Beginning Classes (start here!)
Three different teachers with a slightly different emphasis, but modern, humane approaches.
Family Puppy/Family Dog - Taught by Sandy Case, BFA, MEd, CPDT-KA. Start your puppy or adult dog off with a fun and thorough training course, that teaches the basics they (and you!) need with clicker training, and compatible techniques. Attention, sit, down, come when called, loose leash walking, wait, go to your bed, etc. Learn to think like a trainer and communicate effectively with your dog. 7 weeks. $95 First week is orientation without dogs

Companion Obedience Laura Ormsby's beginner class geared towards the pet owner who would like their dog to become an easier partner to live with. Includes basic moves such as sit, down, coming when called, walk on a loose leash, going to their 'spot' and staying there and other household behaviors. 7weeks. $95. First week is orienttion without dogs.

Foundations With Annabelle Conner Level I Certified Third Way trainer. A unique program to improve your dog's focus and teach the foundations for a lifetime of companionship. Learn exercises such as The Two Life Long Connections and the Three Foundation Games to maintain attention and teach the dog self control. 7 weejs, $95. First week will be an orientation without dogs.

Click for Success (4 week class, with Laura) A basic clicker training class that teaches both handler and dog how to use this popular tool to increase both enthusiasm and creativity when training. 4 weeks, $50.

Four Weeks to a Loose Leash (4 week class with Sandy) Does your pup pull? Effective and humane methods to teach your dog to give better attention and a looser leash. - 4 weeks, $50.

2:30 Focus, Focus, Focus (4 week class, with Laura) One of the most necessary and basic behaviors that our dogs need in order to be able to learn, and yet one of the most overlooked when it comes to training. Teaching your dog to focus in spite of the distractions of the outside world. 4 weeks, $50.
More Advanced Stuff (prerequisite: one of our basic classes or equivalent)
Competition Foundation - open registration - start any time. A class for people who want to compete in Obedience. To keep dogs and humans motivated, we include advanced exercises from the beginning. By the time our dogs get their CDs they are practically ready for CDX, and have some Utility skills. Prerequisite: Family Dog/Puppy & CGC or Rally (or instructor permission) 7 weeks. $95. Drop ins (reserve in advance) $15 per week.

Control Unleashed** Based on the popular book by Leslie McDevitt, this is a course to teach your dog better focus in distracting or difficult situations, and to teach you to better connect with your dog - prerequisite Family Puppy/Family Dog. 7 weeks. $95.

Group classes at Positively Canine are a 7 week session, with Family Dog/Family Puppy, Foundations and Companion Obedience being first week orientation without dogs. All other classes will be 7 weeks with dogs. Classes are $95 per 7 weeks. We reserve the right to combine or cancel classes for low enrollment, but will make every attempt to accomodate student needs.
Special "short sessions" (4 weeks) will be offered at $50 per 4 weeks. The cost of the Therapy Dog/CGC class includes testing and certification after the session is completed.
Private lessons/counseling are $55. an hour plus travel expenses if not held at the school

A discount of $20 will be offered to any dog which has been officially adopted from a shelter/rescue within the past 60 days. A copy of adoption paperwork must be provided.
A discount of $10 will be offered to a second dog being trained in the same household, at the same timeA discount as the first dog. A discount of $10 is available per referral if your friend takes a class because you told them (so be sure they mention your name.) Students continuing their education in the next session will receive a $10 discount.
Class sizes are limited. Preference will be given to students who pre-register, pre-pay. If you pay for a class and have to cancel, if you cancel 7 days before the day of the first class, you will receive a refund, minus a $25 processing fee. Cancellations less than 7 days before the start of class may be eligible to apply their fee to a class starting at a later date.
Current vaccination paperwork must be provided for all dogs. All dogs over 4 months of age must be current on rabies vaccination, and puppies must have at least two sets of vaccination. Titers for Parvo and Distemper will be accepted for dogs at least 2 years old.
